DESCRIPTION

The Venny is seeking a committed Chairperson with an interest in social justice to lead our multi-skilled and experienced Board.

The Chairperson plays a critical role in ensuring the effective governance of The Venny. This includes providing strategic leadership, supporting the CEO, ensuring the board operates effectively, progressing the organisation’s mission, upholding its values, and compliance with legal obligations. 

OPPORTUNITY REQUIREMENTS

We welcome a first time Chair with previous Board/Governance experience as well as an experienced chair. A background in community services, government or education will be highly regarded.

tIme commitment

The Board meets bi-monthly in Kensington, with some engagement between meetings.
