STUDY SUPPORT PROGRAM (HOMEWORK CLUB)

DESCRIPTION

Want to make a difference in a child’s life? Help us provide weekly support with homework tasks, literacy, numeracy and study skills for children from Prep to Year 10. We are seeking both general tutors and subject specialists (English, Maths, Sciences).

The Kensington Study Support program runs Monday and Wednesday evenings 5.30pm – 7.30pm in Kensington for children in Grade 3 to Year 12. Our Strong Foundations group provides intensive literary support for 5 to 7 year olds on Wednesday evenings 5.30pm to 7pm.

The Flemington Homework Clubs are for primary school aged children and operate four days a week across two different locations:

Monday, 3.30pm – 5pm, Flemington Primary School

Tuesday – Thursday, 3.30pm – 5pm, Debney Meadows Primary School

Volunteers may choose which evening suits them best for a regular shift.

OPPORTUNITY REQUIREMENTS

Commitment of 2 hours per week.
